Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how MailVet (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and stores information in connection with our service.
Information we collect
To use the dashboard, API keys, or a paid plan, you need an account, created by signing in with Google, GitHub, or Microsoft. We store the name, email address, and profile picture provided by that sign-in, along with your subscription and billing history (payment details themselves are handled directly by our payment processor, Razorpay — we never see your card or bank details), and metadata about your API usage (timestamps, endpoint, status) needed to enforce plan limits. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with third parties beyond what’s needed to operate the product.
Email addresses you submit to be checked are used only to return a result — we do not store the addresses themselves, though we may retain non-identifying data about the domain to improve accuracy for future checks.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. A session cookie keeps you signed in and is not used to profile you.
Account deletion
You can permanently delete your account from your settings page. This cancels any active subscription and removes your account, API keys, and usage logs. Billing records are retained, no longer linked to you, for legal and accounting purposes.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the service changes. We will update the effective date above whenever we do.
